Rich cheerful people are having fun. The guests are Broadway directors, publishers, nurses, playboys, gangsters, governors, actresses and singers. They are elegant: women are wearing evening dresses and men tuxedoes. They are dancing, singing, swimming, drinking alcohol, driving fancy cars, gambling, chatting, smiling and laughing.
